the Home Office and forgotten civil war"The Refugee Council's report on the human rights situation in Sri Lanka follows a fact-finding mission to the country at the end of 1996 by a Refugee Council delegation. The report calls on the UK government to show a humanitarian attitude towards Sri Lankan asylum seekers. Reports are available from The Refugee Council on 0171 820 3000.
